A quick note on why MarketRunner exists.

Let's be honest, it's hard to make money in the markets. There are so many strategies and so many different indicators to look at that we can often get stuck in analysis paralysis. Fortunately, there are some things that never change.

We've been in the markets for 10 years, whether researching or investing. It has always been a tremendous passion, and one we have made a career out of.

After college, two and a half years were spent at a financial services startup building scanners across stocks, forex, crypto, and commodities. After some time, we wanted to take that work further on our own.

There is no secret sauce, hidden indicator, or special algorithm to this strategy. Anyone can do this, but it just takes time. We used to spend hours researching from stock to stock, when it occurred to us that this strategy could be automated. We built this tool to save hours of manual work so we can focus on what actually matters: the investments.

The truth is we struggled for a long time to make any real profit in our own accounts. Sitting with so many charts and metrics led to poor decisions under too much noise, and it was hard to see what actually mattered.

So we went back to simplicity. There does not need to be a million charts. That is the idea behind MarketRunner. Pull the signal out of the noise, give you a clear read, and keep it usable on your phone.

This is still automated research tooling: impersonal model outputs from MarketRunner, which is operated by MarketRunner LLC, not personalized financial advice. We built it because we needed something cleaner ourselves, and we wanted to share this approach with the world.
